In order to track and analyze YouTube Channels, Playlists and Videos, you must Authenticate the page in Canvs. Authenticating a page will track and analyze new content from your selected asset moving forward.
Select YouTube Data from your Profile dropdown in the far right of the application header.
Adding Channels and Playlists
Click on the Add Channels/Playlists button.
The number of available channels/playlists to add will appear. Start typing the name of the channel or playlist and select it from the drop down list.
Select Confirm to add the YouTube channel/playlist.
A message will appear letting you know that you have successfully subscribed to the YouTube channel or playlist.
Click on the Import Video button.
On the next screen you will need to Authorize Canvs in order for us to proceed with ingesting data. You can log in with any Gmail address that you'd like.
Enter the YouTube Video URL of the Video you would like to track and then click on View Video Details.
Confirm that the video is correct and click Send Data to Canvs.
Confirm once more that you would like to import the video by clicking Proceed!
A message will appear to let you know that your data is processing.
You will receive a confirmation email and the YouTube video will be available to analyze in Canvs shortly after.
